Dear Members,
13th Beach is turning 10 and to celebrate, we're planning four days of festivities for our members and their guests from 1st to 4th December. We hope you'll join the fun, catch up with old friends, make new ones and generally celebrate our club's fi rst decade. The details are overleaf, but here's an idea of what's in store.
We're kicking off the celebrations with a Guest Day on Thursday 1st starting with a BBQ lunch before the 12.30pm shotgun start. This is a chance to showcase our club so bring along up to three guests and you'll all be in the running for great prizes and incentives if a guest decides to become a member. Friday 2nd sees us in relaxed mode with a casual Twilight 9 Hole 2 Ball Ambrose comp for you and one guest. There'll be live entertainment, great prizes and a hole in one challenge from the 1st tee to the 4th green on the Beach Course. We're topping off the evening with the ever popular curry feast.
Compete for the glory at the inaugural Battle on The Beach or the Fight on the Faldo on Saturday 3rd. Now this is not the usual monthly medal รข?? we're talking the Ten Year Medallions here. The next time you'll have the chance to compete for these will be in 2021 and what will your handicap be then? Don't miss this event.
We'll have the courses tricked up a treat.
Save some energy for a big night out at the Carnivale Birthday Party on Saturday evening. The clubhouse will be transformed into a moving feast of food, fl oorshow, entertainment and fun. This is our keynote event and fantastic prizes and plenty of surprises are in store. The dress code is colour, glitz and glam and that's just the boys! Seriously, dress up for a party.
Finally, for a change of pace, we're winding up the celebrations with a Family Day on Sunday 4th from 9:30am to 12.00pm. Bring the kids and let them loose to have fun at the putting competition, the petting zoo or the jumping castle. Oh, and let's not forget that jolly old gentleman in red who's sure to turn up.
These events will sell out fast so watch the website and flyers around the clubhouse for more details. Enclosed in this mail out you'll find a ticket to the Carnivale Birthday Party. Just fill in your details and return it to the club so we can reserve your place at the best night out of the year!
